A PERSONAL APPROACH TO FACIAL BALANCE
Explore volume and contour, thoughtfully
Curious about changes in facial volume or definition? A personal consultation gives you time to explore the look you want and understand what is realistic for your features.
Dermal filler consultations are part of our new spa services in Tahlequah. Start with your goals, get clear answers, and decide whether treatment fits you.

What are dermal fillers?
Dermal fillers are injectable medical devices used for selected volume, contour, and wrinkle concerns. Products differ in composition, approved uses, longevity, and risks. Your consultation confirms the exact product and proposed area.
Fillers work differently from Botox, which reduces selected muscle activity. Neither approach replaces an individual assessment, and no particular appearance is guaranteed.
Your goals guide the plan
Volume
Discuss changes you have noticed and whether a filler could appropriately address your concern.
Contour
Talk about definition and balance, taking your existing features and expectations into account.
An informed choice
Compare the proposed treatment, alternatives, recovery, and costs before making a decision.
From consultation to follow-up
Assessment: Review your goals, medical history, allergies, medications, and previous injectables. Bring the names and dates of earlier filler treatments if available.
Personalized recommendation: Ask which product is proposed, why it fits the area, what improvement is realistic, and what alternatives exist.
Clear expectations: Confirm the total estimate, consent, aftercare, follow-up, and how to contact the treating professional for concerns.
Review: Ask when swelling should settle and when the result should be assessed. Immediate appearance may not reflect the settled outcome.
Understand the risks before treatment
Common reactions include swelling, bruising, redness, tenderness, and pain. Other risks include lumps, infection, allergic reactions, and delayed inflammation. Removal may be difficult or impossible for some products.
Accidental injection into a blood vessel can cause tissue death, blindness, or stroke. Seek immediate medical attention for unusual pain, vision changes, white, gray, or blue skin near the injection site, or stroke symptoms during or shortly after treatment. Call 911 for stroke symptoms or sudden vision loss.
Ask about the injector’s qualifications, product labeling, and complication plan. Tell your clinician about illnesses, dental work, planned procedures, and medications. Do not stop prescribed medicines without your prescriber’s advice.
Dermal filler questions
Which areas can be treated?
Confirm the spa’s available treatment areas during your consultation. The product’s intended use, your anatomy, and the risk assessment determine what is appropriate.
How long will the result last?
Duration depends on the product, area, and individual response. Ask about expected longevity and future costs before starting.
Can every filler be dissolved?
No. Options depend on the material. Discuss reversibility and its limitations for the specific product before consenting; correction can require additional treatment and carries risks.
Can I book before an event?
Tell the team your event date and allow for swelling, bruising, and review. Avoid assuming an immediate event-ready result.
What does treatment cost?
Request a personalized estimate specifying the product, amount, treatment areas, follow-up, and any potential additional charges.
