Your skin deserves a personalized plan

Understanding Plasma Pen
Plasma pens use an electrical arc to create small, controlled thermal injuries at the skin’s surface. Often marketed as “fibroblast” treatment, this approach involves a healing response and requires careful assessment and aftercare.
It is different from platelet-rich plasma (PRP), which is prepared from blood. Plasma Pen is also not a surgical facelift. Ask which device is used, what it is cleared for, and what evidence supports the proposed treatment for your concern.
A consultation built around you
Define your goals
Talk about the changes you have noticed and the areas you would like assessed. Bring questions about fine lines, skin texture, or firmness.
Explore suitability
Review your skin tone, history, medications, and previous cosmetic procedures. Ask about pigment changes, scarring, and alternatives for your skin.
Make an informed choice
Discuss realistic outcomes, recovery, cost, and follow-up before booking a procedure. Results vary, and no particular degree of tightening is guaranteed.
Plan for the whole experience
Before treatment: Confirm the proposed area, device, provider qualifications, comfort measures, and your personalized risk assessment. Share your medication list and any history of unusual scarring or pigmentation.
Your appointment: The treating professional should explain the procedure and obtain informed consent. Ask about alternatives and take the time you need to decide.
Recovery and review: Request written instructions for cleansing, sun protection, skincare, and returning to normal activities. Arrange follow-up and know who to contact if healing concerns arise.
Recovery is part of the treatment
Redness, swelling, discomfort, peeling, and crusting can occur. Pigment changes, burns, scarring, infection, and eye injury are possible risks. Recovery varies with the device, area, treatment intensity, and individual healing.
Leave room in your schedule for healing rather than planning around a promise of “no downtime.” Ask when makeup, exercise, sun exposure, and your usual products can safely resume. Follow the specific aftercare instructions provided by your treating professional.
Plasma Pen questions
Is it right for every skin type?
No treatment is suitable for everyone. Ask for an assessment of your skin tone, pigmentation history, healing, and the risks of the specific device and proposed procedure.
Which areas can be treated?
Confirm available treatment areas during your consultation. The plan should match the device’s intended use and your assessment. Do not assume eyelids or other delicate areas are appropriate.
How much does treatment cost?
Contact the team for a personalized estimate, including the proposed area, number of appointments, aftercare, and follow-up. Pricing is confirmed before you commit to treatment.
Does “FDA registered” mean FDA approved?
No. Ask for the exact device name and its FDA clearance or approval for the proposed use. Registration alone does not establish that a device is approved for cosmetic skin tightening.
